Keep critical data safe with SecurDat. This fine (and free!) utility automatically backs up key files as they're modified, and maintains copies of previous versions as well. SecurDat runs quietly from the system tray, keeping a close eye on the files and folders you've added to its watch list. Add as many folders as you like, then fine-tune your selection with exclusions and file spec filters. A equally high degree of control is offered over the process itself. You can limit the number of backup copies to maintain, select the backup folder, employ a size filter, and impose other limitations to keep your backups from overrunning your disk. Other features include multiple-language support, logging, and a global exclusion list. SecurDat has no noticeable impact on system performance while active.
